The Gingermen Sing for Kenny

The Gingermen, a local Dallas band, perform throughout the year at Greenville Avenue‘s Ozono Grill & Bar.  The Gingermen donate a portion of their proceeds to the Kenny Can Foundation.  Visit their website www.thegingermen.com for upcoming events.

A big thank you to On the Border, for raising $50,000 for the Kenny Can Foundation with their Rock Star Rumble Competition.

On the Border Mexican Grill & Cantina held a bartender competition November 10th, 2003, at the West End in Dallas, TX.  The Rock Star Rumble, bartender teams in the DFW, Louisiana, Corpus Christi and New England markets competed through a series of qualifications to be eligible for the “Final Ten".  During that time each restaurant received the yellow “Life is Good” paper ribbons to sell during the local qualifying rounds. Ribbons were sold for $1, $5, and $20.  All of the proceeds from the ribbon sales went to the Kenny Can Foundation.  All of the On the Border employees that participated made a huge contribution to the Kenny Can Foundation.
